(2)You mean for different symmetries, the conical intersection could also be located if the symmetry is broken and else. Take the following for example. If somebody says that "there is a conical intersection between the two states with different symmetry and same spin( 1A1 and 1B2) along the Cs coordinate". But we found in the Cs symmetry, the two states degenerate different symmetry(A' and A'',respectively). That is to say, the conical intersection does not exist,yes or no ?
