Dear Molcas users,

I'm trying to install Molcas 7.0 onto a Mac (MacOS X 10.4 running on an Intel chip). I'm installing onto a case-sensitive disk image (as suggested on the Molcas website). After running
sudo ./configure -setup
make
most packages are made, until the compiler (GNU g77) reaches the util package, when the following error message is given:

***

cd src/util ; /usr/bin/gnumake
/usr/local/bin/g77 -c -O2 -Wall -malign-double -fno-second-underscore -x f77-cpp-input -I. -I../Include -D_GNU_ -D_LINUX_ -D_DARWIN_ -D_HAVE_UNISTD_ -D_MOLCAS_ -I. -I../../src/Include -I../../g/include machar.f

gnumake[2]: *** [../../lib/libmolcas.a(machar.o)] Error 1
gnumake[1]: *** [.stamp] Error 2
make: *** [util] Error 2

Any ideas what the problem is and how it may be resolved?

David
